Environment Florida in conjunction with the Public Interest Network is organizing an Activist Workshop on Tuesday, November 23 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Show-up ready for action. We will spend the time moving between large group overviews and small groups to give people an opportunity to learn and internalize skills.

SPEED PECHA KUCHA—Get set and hang on as design-inspired individuals provide quick moving visual presentations on the topics of pace and speed to complement the exhibition Speed Limits. Each presenter is allowed 20 images shown for 20 seconds each—making a “speedy” 6 minute, 40 second presentation per participant. Astrid Klein and Mark Dytham (Klein Dytham architecture) devised Pecha Kucha, which is Japanese for the sound of conversation, as a place for young designers to meet, network, and show their work in public.
The City of Miami and South Florida Bicycle Coalition have teamed up to produce a cycling awareness campaign on electronic billboards along I-95.
