1SKY Events happening this week
This is best moment in time we’ve ever had to push U.S. leaders to act on climate change.
A climate and energy bill has passed through the Congressional House, and now we need the U.S. Senate to strengthen and pass it to become the first ever national effort to limit greenhouse gases that cause global warming.
Action of the week! Call your Senators!
This week, 1Sky is flooding senators’ offices with calls from the grassroots in Florida and throughout the country! Our goal is 10,000 calls! Be part of the movement to curb climate change and jumpstart the green economy!
Click here for the phone numbers to call senators: http://www.1sky.org/call
Better still, use our calling and reporting system from this link to give us feedback on what they say! Talk to whoever picks up the phone and tell him or her that we need a clean energy jobs bill that:
-Maximizes clean energy jobs for America
-Takes serious steps to cut global warming pollution as soon as possible
-Transitions us away from coal and other dirty fuels of the past, and towards the clean energy of the future
